Gob and Furious (WIP)

Lunatic wizards, bored with their lives and seeking entertainment, assemble teams of desperate warriors, out-of-work adventurers, and reckless thrill-seekers to battle for glory and gold. Wizards equip their champions and twist their bodies with magic. This is a game of blood, magic, and momentum. The players race their way around the track, trying to survive Gob’s wrath and win the wizard’s favor. 

What is Gob? No one knows what birthed it or if it’s even from our world. Gob is the track itself — a writhing, cursed thing that has twisted its way through the shattered remains of the world around it. The Gob warps and twists its body creating a new track every race. The Gob is fickle. Racers may speed down a straight open road only to turn a corner to cross a narrow land bridge or navigate a claustrophobic mountain pass.  

To race on Gob is to gamble not only your life but your soul. It remembers those who race upon it. The crowds believe Gob plays favorites — rewarding those who feed it the most carnage with impossible victories. But no champion remains untouched. Every crash, every broken bone, every desperate sprint — it drinks them all in. 

I have been very into kit bashing lately. I really liked my sci-fi death sport game but I wasn't set on the theme. Gob and Furious is a game that allows you to make your custom team. Gob and Furious is in a very early stage. I published the basic rules but that won't be all. I have been working on random tables, rules for changing terrain mid-race, tables and rules to roll up a character to provide you with inspiration for your kit bash, and eventually rules for equipment and mutations. 

This is a hack/reskin/something of my other game Android Racing Circuit  combined with Mork Borg.
